Dr. Hollis Herman (Holly) has been a physical therapist for 50 years. Her passion is musculoskeletal function and dysfunction in Women’s and Men’s Health and is Board Certified Orthopedic, Women’s Health, Biofeedback Specialist. She has pioneered physical therapy evaluation and treatment of problems that involve urologic, colorectal, obstetric, gynecologic and sexual medicine. She maintains a vibrant private practice in Cambridge, MA in partnership with Weeks Wellnesss, seeing female and male patients in addition to training thousands of health professionals in these areas of health worldwide.

Holly has authored numerous books, book chapters and peer reviewed articles. She has received numerous grants and awards for her dedication and work in physical therapy. Holly co-founded the Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute . In 2012, the Institute will offer 45 courses related to women’s and men’s health, pelvic and pelvic floor function, dysfunction and treatment worldwide. Holly believes all patients deserve the right to be heard, validated, understood and educated in their specific musculoskeletal condition.

Tammy Russell has a long history as a dietitian, an integrative nutritionist and a functional medicine-based counselor.

She has worked in the fields of inpatient and outpatient nutrition, clinical research, health coaching, private counseling and teaching.  She has a bachelors and master’s degree in Nutritional Science from Rutgers University, and completed her dietetic internship at the University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor.  

Tammy trained in functional medicine with the Institute for Functional Medicine, Functional Medicine University, Apex Energetics and Metagenics. Tammy’s main areas of focus are gut health, autoimmune disease, hormone balance, fertility, cardiovascular, endocrine and other chronic diseases. Tammy is also a Reiki Master and intuitive energy healer. 

Currently residing in Portland, Oregon, Tammy enjoys hiking, walking, reading, creating new recipes in the kitchen, and spending time with her family.  

Dr. Ally earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Biomechanics from University of Cincinnati. She went on to earn her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Colorado where she graduated in 2013.

She started her career specializing in orthopedics and she is Board Certified Orthopedic specialist. She has been practicing trigger point dry needling for over 6 years .She became interested in pelvic therapy after having a personal experience where she required pelvic therapy as a patient. The treatment was so effective in helping her pelvic floor condition but it also helped her low back and hip pain. She decided to pursue additional training so she could help others get the same results.

She has taken additional pelvic floor training, including Holistic Treatment of the Pregnant Body with the Institute of Birth Healing, and is passionate about continuing with her education. Dr. Ally wants her patients to feel heard and understood. People tend to suffer in silence about their pelvic floor conditions because they have been told it is normal or their symptoms are embarrassing to talk about to others. Dr. Ally will make you feel comfortable and validated, but most importantly she will do everything she can to make you feel better.

She can treat men and women with conditions such as urinary incontinence, constipation, fecal incontinence, pelvic pain, vaginal pain, low back pain, hip pain, abdominal pain, pregnancy, post partum, diastis recti, pudendal neuralgia, interstitial cystitis, post-proctectomy, and more.

Dr. Lynn earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology/Anthropology and Psychology from Middlebury College. She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy from the MGH Institute of Health Professions in 2014. She went on to do an Orthopedic Physical Therapy Residency, then became a Board Certified Specialist in Orthopedics (OCS) and Women’s/Pelvic Health (WCS). She has also completed certificates of achievement in pelvic and obstetrics PT through the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and became a Certified Lymphedema Therapist through Klose Training. Lynn did her 200-hour Therapeutic Yoga Teacher training through Soma Yoga Institute in 2023. She is working on an Integrative Lifestyle Medicine Certificate through Ginger Garner’s Living Well Institute and advanced perinatal training with Lynn Schulte’s Institute for Birth Healing. She is the president of the APTA MA Pelvic Health Special Interest Group.

Lynn works with patients of all genders and ages and treats all pelvic health and orthopedic conditions. She believes every patient has a unique story that needs to be carefully listened to and understood. Her approach is gentle and calming. She empowers patients to feel well educated about their condition and supports them throughout their wellness journey. She treats the whole body and can help a wide variety of orthopedic issues from head to toe.

Lynn enjoys working on various research projects such as Strength After Breast Cancer and pelvic health equity and access initiatives. She likes to get out in the community to lead educational workshops because while at least half of people suffer from a pelvic health disorder in their lifetime they tend to suffer in silence. Outside of work Lynn enjoys cooking, reading, jogging, electric biking and hiking with her kids and husband and quality time in the backyard with the family, dog and guinea pigs.

Laura Schembri is a Registered Dietitian. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics from Murray State University and her Master’s and Dietetic Internship in Nutrition and Food Science from Florida State University.

 Laura has served as a dietitian in many capacities, including public school health, college instructor, weight management, ‘Women, Infants and Children’, and outpatient dietitian. With each role, it became clearer how important nutrition is at every stage of life.

 As a mom who dealt with pregnancy and breastfeeding challenges, she is passionate about supporting women through their own journey of preconception, pregnancy, postpartum and beyond.

 Her own health struggles brought her to functional nutrition and introduced to her a whole new approach to nutrition. She is a certified MRT/LEAP Therapist and has experience with the GI-MAP functional test. She has also completed advanced training with Mastering Gut Health by Health Takes Guts! Laura is dedicated to finding the root cause of digestive and nutritional health problems and helping everyone nourish their body through nutrition.
